So you have decided to connect with your partner on LoveByte? That’s great! To connect with your partner in a private network can really strengthen your bond.
Here we’ll explain the three steps you need to connect successfully with your partner on LoveByte.
How to Register and Connect on LoveByte:
Register on LoveByte to create your account using one of the available methods:
Register with email, or simply use your migme or Facebook account.
If you partner already has registered, you still need to register your own account and fill in the information of your partner.
The registration form will ask you to fill out your details: your name, e-mail, password and gender. Tap ‘Done’ and your account will be created.
Now that you have registered. You need to enter your partner’s details. Tap on the ‘mail’ icon to find from your address book. Be sure to include your sweet message so they know it’s you!
Your partner will receive an invitation e-mail asking them to join you on LoveByte.
Now your partner needs to:
1. Download LoveByte onto their mobile phone.
2. Register and fill out the form, just as you did with the matching information you provided.
3. Click on ‘Accept’ to connect your accounts!
Now you can start using LoveByte!
How to check your accounts have been connected successfully
If you want to check if you accounts have been connected successfully, Go to ‘More’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Account’ > ‘Him/Her’. If you have connected successfully, you will see this status and you can receive messages from your partner.
Having problems connecting?
However, if your partner has not joined you… Your status shows “Waiting for Partner” and Chat will not be activated – you will not be able to send/receive messages if you are not connected yet.
If you are experiencing problems connecting with your partner make sure that you have both registered to LoveByte and added the same information about each other. This means that the e-mail of your account needs to match the e-mail your partner has set as his partner’s e-mail and vice versa.
The most common problem to connect is a minor spelling mistake in the e-mail address, or that your partner invited you using your other e-mail if you have multiple email accounts.
If this happened, don’t worry. You can change it without needing to register again. Go to ‘More’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Account’ Settings and change your partner’s e-mail to the correct one, and press ‘Resend invite‘ so your partner will receive email.
Please note that you have to to re-send the invitation to your partner for you to be able to connect your accounts. Your partner will then check their email, click on the new invitation link and your accounts will be connected!
